Hey guys!

I picked up a Boss DS-2 Distortion pedal and wanted to try for a metal tone with the American Deluxe HSS Strat. This is No Bone Movies from Blizard of Oz, I always loved this song and never attempted an Ozzy song before so here's a go. There are some issues and the solo is a bit jacked up but hey, I'm no Randy Rhoads.

Pretty happy with the pedal so far, along with my overdrive pedal I can now switch between just a little dirt and full on distortion. :D \m/ :D

Nice playing, and a nice Strat, too.

wow what a walk down memory lane. thanx. i just now started trying to play in dorian mode and alot of lessons mention randy. your vid makes me really want to practice and understand it better.
another thing. you modest, honest guys who can rip a fretboard make me sick sometimes. "i missed a note". the solo was great and i'm even more impressed with the solid rythym work.
good job dude.

It was memory lane for me too, figuiring this song out. I love how it's heavy and bluesy at the same time. The Blizard of Ozz album is such a classic.

I don't have a clue about the modes other than hearing the names of them but I do want to learn them eventually. Thanks so much for the compliment bro, it means a lot coming from another player.

I know I have a looong way to go when I hear guys like euphoria, who are so smooth and can play a ton of styles. One day...

OK 3 things,

1. your playing sounds great, very well done

2. nice tone you dialed in there!

3. just goes to prove yet again, you can play anything on a Fender HSS Stratocaster

Your channel is so awesome that I went to subscribe and I already was!
Seriously, your "demos" are mind blowing! Thanks so much for the kind words, and yes the HSS Strat is a beast of a guitar, I hardly deserve her.
