I have now tried Ernie Ball's RPS 10's and am very happy with them so far

but they seem to have lost their sound already.

How long should strings last?
I know there are numerable variables, but I play for about on average an hour a day

I've also noticed that Enrie Ball strings sound great at first but need frequent changing since they sound dull rather quickly.

Dean Markley are the longest lasting ones I've found. I love Fender, but I never liked thier strings much. Ernie Balls die right away.

GHS and DR also last a while
