i've got one in an old explorer and i love it. one volume knob and no tone controls. the pu is just plain nasty. it feedbacks nice and i can control it easily. the guitar is my least expensive one but the one i play the most. maybe because i actually re-did it and it works. enjoy.

I've still got all of the stock telecaster controls working around it. it sounds great.
