Hi fine folks,

Just saw this on electronicbay, and though you might appreciate the workmanship and taste the maker of this piece has put into it.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Teleca ... 35c155eec6

I quote:
"This is a guitar built from Fender parts. It is beautiful none-the-less. It plays better than my real mexican Fender tele.

It is built from light weight Poplar, surf blue with chrome painted plates.

It is has a maple neck which has been proffesionally fretted and the nut saddles tuned, also the truss rod to have super light perfect string action, with gauge 8 strings.

It is a customised paint job and the bridge is a matching blue. The scratchplate is a matching chrome matt. It is beautiful.
The back of the guitar has a few bumps in the paint job, other than that it can be passed of as new.

This is a very nice guitar which sounds superb and plays equally as nice. It will surely please its owner, I'm reluctant to sell it."

Well, I am reluctant to buy it. Routers are dangerous beasts in more than one way...

Anyone else seen any horrors lately?

Cheers

Nutter

Only worth buying if he made a 12-string version with a matching jigsaw pattern so you could slot it together to make an impromptu double neck.

Gee, I own a bunch of Telecasters... and I have been bored lately... and I also own several routers and a 3HP shaper... hmmmm. Why not?

I also love the trash people leave on their beds and elsewhere when they are taking their professional pictures for eBay... :?

That puppy is abused, not "used." Some people have no business in the same room that the power tools are stored in, he's one of them.

What is that tele meant to be.. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a shape that is recognisable, like a shape of a country for example.

Why am I feeling heartfelt sympathy for an inanimate object.. :?

I am thinking the guy that built that thought he was channeling a little Rick Neilson...Not.

I do think the Turquoise colored Fender logo on the headstock would look at home with a nice silverface amp though.
