A few years back i bought a Encore SG wih broken pickups, i want. a professional job doing. anywhere within 50 miles of York, UK.

hi , not being cheeky but for the price of a couple of half decent pickups you could buy a nice working epiphone sg 400 which would be a big step up from an encore . And now for the guitar you have , have you checked for loose wires in the engine room ? one pickup going bad is rare , two going bad is nigh on impossible , i'm thinking loose wire at the jack , it's an easy fix , , cheers

Thanks! turns out the only wires connected are the ones that go from the jack, and theyre attatced to no pickups... i think it was a failed project before i bought it.
