Well, I didn't get the bartending job, but oh well. A little disappointed at first but I got over it. All I really need anyway is a paycheck, so I'll keep looking around. I look at it this way: There are a lot of people working two jobs, so I should be able to get one.

Keep the mojo flowin' guys.

I've definitely been there, it's quantity vs. quality as far as I'm concerned, just keep plugging away at it, get your name out there as much as possible and network. That's the only thing that ever worked for me. Sending all my good vibes your way....

Here's some music while you wait, this guy grew up not too far from me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmrOB_q3tjo

i'm one of those 2 job people and sometimes i feel guilty. my 2nd job is very slow right now but the extra cash is always appreciated. there is still quite a bit of construction work around my area and i'm thankful.
have you tried any temp agencies? i have always had great luck with them. the money ain't all that but it has led me into a few full-time positions.

Don't get disappointed. My daughter finally got another job last week after being off for 2 1/2 years. Luckily it's in her chosen profession and at the same pay as her last full time job. For a long time she didn't think it was ever going to happen. You'll get your break.

Well actually, I'm just looking for a part-time job to last me through college. I'm working landscaping now but with winter and school I don't get many hours. Even though its 12 bucks an hour it still doesn't make my car payment. If I cant find work before next semester I'll probably look into a student job.
