I was sold this vintage SD Invader pickup (wound by Maricela Juarez too) from a member there. It's going to be shipped tomorrow, and it's going in the neck position of my Telecaster. (seeing as my old one died and Niki's never came in the mail. (lost?))

I can't wait, this thing is going to be crazy. I don't want to risk messing it up, so I'm having the boys at my local music store (always looking for an excuse to give me a discount too) do it for me.

Anyways, cheers.

One of the members there said it was at a staggering 22k.

Hell yea. I dig it. One member also said it was untamable in terms of tone. It'l all work out somehow, though.

They don't have specs on the vintage ones, though. Those are modern, controlled, versions. I'll have to get it measured when I take it to the shop.

Guy said it might be here Saturday. The boys at the music shop will probably charge me somewhere around $50 to install it.
