Joking aside, I've been considering a Fender 12 string acoustic. I got rid of my $4000 Taylor. It was the most beautiful guitar I've ever owned. It was also frail feeling and very thin sounding. Now I find I really miss having a 12 string, but don't feel like shelling out thousands again. I just want something I can take along with me without needing a bodyguard for the guitar.

Try a guild. I love my Guild 12-string. To me it's the best bang for your buck

I've had several Guild 12 strings, the last was a JF-55. They do make the best 12 strings I've ever played. I'm a big time Guild man. I just don't want anything that expensive. I'm looking for a guitar I won't mind taking camping or to a party.

Mine cost about $600. It wasn't bad. Heres a pic (Sorry it's a little dark)
