Joking aside, I've been considering a Fender 12 string acoustic. I got rid of my $4000 Taylor. It was the most beautiful guitar I've ever owned. It was also frail feeling and very thin sounding. Now I find I really miss having a 12 string, but don't feel like shelling out thousands again. I just want something I can take along with me without needing a bodyguard for the guitar.

The Fender Acoustic in those pictures I had strung and tuned to Nashville Tuning.

Nashville Tuning is using the Octave strings out of a 12 string set and tuning them like the octave strings on a 12 string. It sound pretty cool.

Try a guild. I love my Guild 12-string. To me it's the best bang for your buck

Take a look at this:

My current acoustic is a left handed 6 string version of this guitar. I love it and kept it over a Takamine and an Ovation.
