I think it might be helpful to share with others our favorite instructional videos. Kind of like giving mini-reviews of them. I know I would love to hear about whats out there. It would be especially helpful to know the level of the lesson.

My favorite so far is by Homespun Music. Its Keb Mo teaching intermediate technique mixed with some of his songs. He explains the technique well and I have found that what he teaches generalizes to my own music. Intermediate difficulty

Another I thought was really good was Stephane Grossman teaching country blues in open D. I forget the company who made it. Clear and easy to follow instructions. I got it on Netflix and even without tab or sheet music, found it helpful. Its for intermeidate players

cheers and hope to hear from all of you

There was a Show on PBS Back in the 80's called "Rock School". It was a Guitar/Singer, Bass, Drummer that would take through Techniques like Palm Muting, Thumb Slapping, and Rim Shots, step by step. Every Week they'd cover a different Style of Rock, Blue, or Funk. There may have been a Keyboard, too.

That show should be released on DVD and reaired or revamped for modern times.

No interest in guitar-instructional videos. Possibly sad, but can't stomach television either.
