I was of the opinion that we had pretty much narrowed down a spec and were waiting for input from the company. Our poll does show 50% stating that their position would be price dependent.

Still waiting..... :?

Well I for one voted no. Reason? I could not bring myself to purchase a guitar based on looks and specs alone without having the opportunity to actually try it. :? Unless of course it was a vintage strat, and that baby would go directly into a vault.

This one's been weighing on me quite a bit the past month but ... I think I need to go ahead and do the right thing here and close this thread ... not permanently, mind you, but at least for right now. As I do so, though, I want to emphasize that the concept here is something we ABSOLUTELY want to (and will) pursue ... I just want to do it in a way that makes sense and which eliminates what we're starting to see here which is page after page of folks speculating on the topic (and rightfully so, since I've been unable to devote a tremendous amount of time toward providing clarity or direction on the topic of late).

Tell ya what, if ya'll can help me out with filling this Web Development Manager position with a quality, hardworking individual then we'll be able to more realistically get the fun started ... I have made a swift return to the 14-hour-day zone over the past few months whilst I await the perfect candidate for that particular role to surface. :?
