Whatever it is I want it to have a reverse headstock.

That's my contribution.

From some of the more recent comments it appears that we've gone no further than 53 pages ago.[ I thought we pretty much had it narrowed down to an Esquire with a custom wound pickup and the Eldred circuit.]

I'm go'in back to sit'in on the bank, and watch'in the river flow. When we finally hear from Brad I'll dry my feet off and get back into with ya'll.

Unless you folks are prepared to make a financial commitment to this project I will thank you to play your little game some place else.

Thank you.

Perhaps /i was too forceful. I would love to make a commitment, but I'm 14 and broke.

Of course, if a reverse headstock is what y'all want... I just had a feeling it wasn't.

Hey man been watching this thread as it twirls.
My vote is for a $900 Blonde Tele,
with Ren&Stimpy on the front and
a Forum Lounge decal on the headstock.

No matter what is decided there's an 80% chance that the guitar will be immediately pulled apart as a projected and customized.

Maybe that's a good starting point - something that's solid, but easy to pull apart, upgrade and tinker with?

Maybe something frankenstrat worthy?

What the buyer ultimately decides to do with it will their own concern. After much discussion it appeared that we had reached what we thought was an ultimate end as to what this guitar should represent. Apparently not. A careful reading of the past 8 months conversations is in order for anyone new to this.

I am all for an Esquier; however, if the number of particapents is a driving factor for the good guys at Fender to decide their options perhaps we should wait to see what they come up with. In the spirit of this endeavor I would like to see something that could work for everyone, even if that means some modifications. Unfortunately, nobody is going to be 100 percent satisfied with what is presented.

Perhaps this could be custom color.. Fender could provide a color chart like in the 60's and anyone who preordered could have choice of colors on that list.
