Platform notwithstanding we were recommending a Twisted Tele Abby wound pup, the Eldred Wiring. and some kind of Forum ID...either a logo or neck plate or both. I referred Brad to an FSR MIJ '52 Tele offered on The Music Zoo's website as an example of a starting point. It weighs in at $850 'street'. I don't see why it is not possible to do this guitar at around $1K max at dealer's cost. It all depends on what the company wants out of us.

Brad already said that this would probably be a direct sale so we could get it for dealer cost or less.

    Cheers!

Would your price range then be $1000 to $1500 USD? The upper end makes sense for a "Needs to push my buttons" price but $1000 USD seems overly generous for the "Group Hug" price.

If this is the case, then great, no worries but I have a feeling it may not be.

    Cheers!

Not everybody likes group hugs.
And that's OK too.
Narrowing it down helps the decision making process in the long run.

Keep this latest "roster" going, please ... this is really the info most needed to realistically start a feature set discussion. Good format. :D

Doc, try a Tele Cabronita, (or whatever it's called).
Got one in my local shop, it's my absolute go to in that shop out of all the other guitars that would better suit what I do these days. (I go in there mucking about with amps a lot). Despite the other Fender, ESP and Fretking guitars in there, thats the one I always go back to. It'll be coming home with me as soon as I've made some room.
The TV Jones/Filtertron inspired pickups are a work of art. They cover everything well, simply using the volume control.
An Esquire version of that, Eldred wired? Maybe even coil tapped?

This thing, stick a proper Tele bridge on it, or better still a Joe Barden one. Ditch the neck pickup.

It's good to know we're on the right path. Thanks, Brad. ....

To inspire the troops, and if FMIC regulations permit you to do so, would you consider adding your name to the list along with your "Group Hug" and "Press my buttons" prices? 8)

Your design suggestion and preference is an interesting variation and is coming as a surprise given your acquisition from this side of the pond. Good to have you aboard with it. Martian has lobbied for six individual saddles as being superior for setup and intonation. Given his background and experience, and having owned a Tele with such, I'm in agreement there. Brad's interested in crystallizing a price point first. Specs to follow.

I like your Cabro...Nikininja. The little pickguard looks great. An Esquire version, yeah.

We'd have to wait till they do a run minus the neck pup rout.
That leaves a LOT of finish to play with. With your good taste, I hope you're getting on the list man.

I can always find an excuse for anther Reso Mike

Goodonya ...Mark.

Their 'stock' Cabronita Telecaster in this finish is $899.00 MSRP. Let's keep that in mind.
