How bout some fender forum pickups? Special windings are allways cool, and basically make a new guitar out of an existing one. Sonically speaking. It would also spawn a few wiring threads and perhaps sound comparison discussions.

Cheers

Abby wounders I bet. However, I see the same cost/demand issues as some of the other sophisticated ideas. The simpler the better I'm afraid. F'rinstance...recall how Ceri made that awesome neck plate a couple of years age? Not so here. My guess is that Fender has a cad/cam machine designed to engrave theirs. Programming and manufacture should be of little consequence.

What about a very cool white or tweed Fender guitar strap with the Fender Forums lounge logo on the strap?

One with locks and one without.

Another creative thought. Of course, economies of scale apply here as well.

This reminds me of the Vietnam Peace Talks in Paris during the 60's. First they had to agree on the shape of the table. :?

Thanks Mike. Yet another cool idea, I like it.

12 pages in and I'm beginning to think this may just be as far as we will get. Ah well, I guess it was a good idea anyways..

Hopefully, we have Brad looking over our shoulder here who will eventually chime in.

Forums t-shirt
Pickguard
Strap
Picks
Guitar

Wishful thinking, I fear.

I think Brad should open up pre-orders for the different items and the item with the most orders is the Forum item(s).

I would like to see a Forum neckplate and/or an SSS pickguard.

Although I would love to go for a Forum Guitar, I think the logistics and money for such an item would be more than most on here would be able to afford. Small items would be more cost effective.

Keep in mind that winter NAMM is coming fast and although it's
great to toss around ideas, it's most likely on a back burner for a bit.

I was thinking about that too Bros. In a roundabout (isn't that the title to a song by the band "Yes") way NAMM might work in the Forums favor re: FSR Fender Lounge Guitar and stuff. :D
