Here is something that has always been in the back of my mind since I started reading this forum. Has anyone formed an opinion as to who generally are better guitar players based on the topics discussed in the Telecaster section, or the Stratocaster section? Is one group more concerned with issues concerning just how to be a better player as to having a better guitar? I realize the Strat. is a more complicated guitar, so more questions on setup. Other than that I have no opinion, just curious as to what others think.

Define "better"?

I think that there is talent (or lack of?) using both.

I guess by "better", I mean who is more concerned and dedicated to improving themselves as players. To paraphrase Kennedy, "what can I learn to do for the guitar, not what can the guitar do for me".

I can't recall anyone talking about improving playing skills on these fora - except from those who has just started learning . Most threads seems (IMHO) to be : ID my guitar , set-ups /buzz , GAS , pics, dreams , demoes, pup-choices ,wiring . Ok to me , we might all learn from it . :|
Now and then a build-thread , which I always enjoy , and find it to be an educational way of understanding the instrument :D
