Although I am sure FSR hand stained Am. Std. P Bass's exist they do not seem to be showing up on the Fender website/products. In fact the only model that shows up as a factory special run bass guitar is the hand stained jazz bass, where are the other stuff? :?: :?: :? :?

Fender Special Run instruments as a general rule never get listed in the products category. Usually FSR's are made for a specific dealer or consortium of dealers who all go in together to split up the run. Fender doesn't offer them to all dealers, just delivers them to the dealers who ordered the special run. Therefore it would be ultra-frustrating to hopeful owners to list all the FSR's which they can't possibly track down. With an untold number of special runs of all models it would be a daunting task just listing all of them. The recent Antigua special run is an exception.

The issue of FSR's is a confusing one, we have had several FSRs this year that have either been listed on the products pages such as the Black Paisley, Antigua's and the current ones.

They seem to get listed as the production run is being done and when they have finished then they are taken down. Some other get listed only for a short time but get headlined in the main Fender page this years hand stained models and last years metallic copper bursts are two such examples. I don't remember the silverburst and copperburst tele's from last year getting any mention at all.

FSRs made for companies specifically dont get any mention as far as i am aware. It would be great to have a section on the website that kept a log of FSR models produced by Fender not sure if they keep such info to hand or could search the database specifically for FSRs maybe Brad or Rob could shed some light on this.
