Was at my local brick&mortar store to purchase a performance warranty for my Martin, on the way out I was asked do I play electric. I replied, I attempt to. Gentleman showed me a slightly used trade-in. A Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster! Only three months old. Tags still on her. Couldn't resist. Price was perfect, $999. Here's a pic:

Sounds incredible through the chocolate tweed. Now I have my eye on a Gibson 75th Anniversary Advanced Jumbo. I have a sickness!

I believe my wife would say that you were at the wrong place at the wrong time! It was just wrong for that salesman to take advantage of you that way.

As far as your "sickness," I would have to say that you have a guitar cold, compared to those of us on this Forum who have a guitar Plague. You can still get over it! Many of us are simply too far gone to recover... :shock:

Oh, and nice guitar, too.

I wouldn't call it a cold, I do have the plague. I'm in the high teens as far as guitars/basses go. Plus a few amps and other musical paraphernalia as well. Think it's called GAS! :D

Okay, I stand corrected, to a degree. You actually have the Guitar Flu. I have both Guitar & Amp Plague, with 70+ guitars and 40+ amps.

I passed the GAS a long time ago. I am now referred to as One Sick Puppy! 8)

But it's okay, you are getting there...
