New Guy Here !

Hi everyone. I'm the noob here on board this fine forum board. I am a 53 year old guitarist who has been playing for 40 years and am always learning something new. My favorites run from Blues to 80's Metal. I do believe that diversity will make you a all around, much rounded musician. My gear consists of a 2010 ESP LTD Viper 100-FM, of which I've enclosed a photo for all of you to see. I did some mods to it, of which I swapped out the cheap tuners for a set of Wilkinsons which keep this baby in perfect tune. I also installed a Sprague .047 Orange cap in the tone pot, which gives this guitar more of a Beefier, LP tone as well. Along with that, I'm currently using a 1999 MIM Fender Champion 30 combo that I have just got done restoring to it's former glory, along with a Digitech RP-50 effects processor. I am married and have a 8 year old son and am retired after serving 20 years in the Navy. Hopefully with the holiday season upon us, I can convince the Missus to get me a Squier Vintage Modified 70's Strat in the White finish and the Black pup covers.
