I have posted pix of most of my gear at one time or another but I was considering putting up an updated lot of pix as the family has grown considerably since the pix were first taken. Some of the pix are somewhere in the back pages of the Lounge section under the heading Guitslinger's babies or maybe guitslingers guitars but I'm pretty sure that it's the former heading.

It would be interesting to a see a new group shot. But did the original come with back stories and details on each??

Hi Alan: One of my next purchases will have to be a Rick, either a 325 like John's '64 model or a copy of the '64 360/12,of course both would have to have the toaster pups to get the authentic Beatles' tone.I haven't tried my Strat through the amp yet so I guess that I should break out the old '65 and since I don't have a copy of Rory's booster I guess if I ran it through the Top Boost channel and ran it through my Way Huge Green Rhino set on ear-bleed-treble I may get a close facsimile of the tone. Now if only I could play the lead break of "They Don't Make Them Like You Anymore" from Tattoo-my favourite R.G. song.

Buxom,I didn't put up any side notes about my guitars unless if someone asked a specific question about any of them.It would be quite time consuming to write out over 50 side notes if I included all the guitars, amps and effects pedals. So I just left the notes to a minimum unless asked.

BTW you can't see my pride and joy-my one-off black '66 Gretsch Tennessean because old Bill is in the way...lol.So I'll try to get a couple of more pix put up when Blinkers drops by tonight or tomorrow.

Hi Derek , if you just plug into the top boost channel and rump it up you can get the old taste sounds ,also a close resemblence to the early rory stuff but once you throw in a boost BAM 8) oh and some volume won't go wrong  cheers
Alan

I have an IBJL Casino, and a handwired AC-15. Don't think I'll give that amp up for anything! Mind you, I don't think I'll give up any of my gear!!

As much as I love the Casino (oh, and I do!) I still find myself putting it down, and cutting loose with the Am Dlx Tele after a while. The AC-15 rules the roost when it comes to tone for me! Works well with the Brian May too (for obvious reasons).

My strat also loves this amp, but in my mind is calling out for a DRRI as a companion. Funny how GAS works!

I also have a Vox VT20+, because I like my neighbours and don't ALWAYS have to practice at top volume.

Congrats Guitslinger on your fine gear!

Hi Jonoteague, thanks for the compliment. The VT-20 is a great amp too.I bought one about 3 months for my cousin's incredibly gifted 11 year old grandson. He's so good that the music school he goes too set him up with their top teacher because the others couldn't teach him anything that he already didn't know.I gave him an Affinity Tele too-this kid will be going places because he has the talent, drive and love of the guitar.

The AC-15 is a deadly amp and I just can't get enough of it.Now I have to try all my babies through it.

Teles sound incredible through AC-15s and 30s.A bandmate of mine once saw John Jorgenson playing a Tele through 3 AC-30s using a digital delay-he said that it was absolutely the best tele sound that he ever heard. When I bought my AC-15 the salesguy plugged in an Affinity Tele with Duncan designed pickups and played some Ry Cooder and Mark Knofler style riffs and it sounded incredible. If I had the extra money I would've bought the Tele too,it sounded out of this world and was only $299 or $399,either price would've been more than fair considering how great the guitar sounded.
