My missus told me that she was going to a "hen party" with her sisters this evening so I took this as a sign.I took off to see my buddies in Reid Music and paid the Vox-AC-15 that I had on lay-away off in full.Unfortunately the missus changed her mind and now I have to wait until she goes out tomorrow to break out with my "Beatle guitars" and get the house rockin'.My 1965 John Lennon Casino and my 1966 Gretsch Tennessean like Georges should bring me right back to the 60s when I start playing my old Betle favourites.

This is the 5th Vox that I've bought but the last one I bought before this one was a VT-20 that I bought for my cousin's incredibly talented 11 year old grandson as he didn't have a decent amp or guitar-I bought him a beautiful ash bodied Squire Affinity Tele also.Hopefull now I'll be able to nudge him towards Beatle music but it's too bad that he's a 1 1/2 hr. drive from my place.

Thanks guys,I'll try to get some pix posted with the Vox and my Beatle guitars.I'll have to ask Blinkers when he comes over to drool on the amp...lol.To this day I still can't get the hang of putting pix on Photobucket and/or posting them on the forum or Facebook.I'm such a complete Luddite that it's a wonder that I can operate an electric guitar, amp and stomp boxes...lol.

Hey guitslinger, used a Vox AC-15 a few weeks back with my baja tele. Also a tube screamer, blues driver and a little reverb/delay. Played some old Pete Green/Feetwood Mac stuff.
A sound to die for, an absolute dream. 8)

A '65 Casino is a fine instrument. I love the jangle.

I tried just the old Gretsch first and played "I Feel Fine" and got goosebumps the size of pomegranates because the tone was exactly the same as George got on the album. The Casino really sings through and I thought that you couldn't get it to ring and chime any better than the Blues Jr. did-I was mistaken for sure. The Casino through the AC-15 has more chime than just about everything on the market. My next guitars to go through the AC-15 are my John Lennon EJ-160-E and my '65 Vox Phantom XII 12 string.

I've been lusting for a Vox AC-15 or 30 since Feb. 9th 1964,I'm disgusted with myself that it took me almost 50 years to finally get one.If I had know how sweet this amp really is,I would've had one at least 4 decades ago.

Alan,I imagine that you are in your glory too, having bought a new AC-15.I always had an affinity for Vox products as a whole and now the GAS attack to acquire more is uncontrollable as now I'm wanting to have an Super Beatle,a Royal Guardsman and an AC-50 or 100-that's just for starters and I'll have to get the mitts good enough for gigging again to be able to afford them.
