I've known about Anthony for quite awhile, he played for a short time in Magic Slim's band, and his band had also won the first Buddy Guy’s Legends “Best Unsigned Blues Band” competition in 1998. I also got his first album in a promo package where I played several tracks on my radio show. Listeners called in asking to hear more tracks.

Later, I finally met, and had the honor, to introduce him at the now closed Blues Station back in Columbus OH, where he put on a great show. I ran into him again in Nashville at NAMM, he had moved there a few years ago. He told that he was recording a new album than, and I brought a copy as soon as it came out.
