I cant honestly remembering ever refusing someone who said they played and asked to check it out. My good friend Mike who owns the guitar store I hang in hates this and I have seen him bark at some of the regulars who ask a customer if they can check out their guitar. Strats and Tele's are practically bullet proof so it is no big deal.

I insist on it. Strangers and friends alike.

Recently, October, my band were top of the bill on an all dayer. Eight or nine bands on. I made my amp and guitar available to all of them.
Be a gent, cos you don't know when you may need a bit of karma working your way.
