Just 'cause obama won.... barely in popular vote (which afterall is what truly represents American sentiment), doesn't mean he's right.

He's not !

and 4 more years will go a long way to proving that !!

Romney didn't lose tonight... America did .. !!

Just wait Meatheads !!

cheers!

Without venturing into my opinion in who should or should not have one, as I don't want to argue. In my opinion the USA is far too big, with too many people living different lives in vastly different areas to ever elect someone who can realistically please a great majority and be able to run policies for everyone. It almost seems like running an election for 50 different countries in one go. Almost like trying to elect one leader for every country in Europe

Glad Obama won for America. At least he represents black and hispanic and poorer white folks.

Also there has got to be something seriously wrong with a political party/ideology that doesn't want free healthcare for all.

Anyway the Republican party are history in the US unless they change their stance and attitude completely. The population boom in black and hispanic families, meaning almost certain votes for the Democrat party in the future, will see to that.

If they don't change they'll be an irrelevance in US politics within the next 10 years or so when the black/hispanic population totally outstrips the white one.

You must be forgetting George W., one of the worst things to happen to this country in recent history.

The sky's not going to fall.

Part of the reason Romney lost is too much of his support were extremist and exclusionists, with an us against them attitude. I like to think I'm an American, not a republican or democrat or conservative or liberal. No side is right all the time.

We have friends who have written off a lot of their friends because they didn't support Romney. I don't understand that.
