All right you know what this post is about.Ever get sick of lugging and bashing your expensive amp into walls and taking it lugging it around town just so you can have your special sound when you perform?

I was considering on buying an amp case or something that protects it and makes it easier to carry around.Any ideas?

What kind of amp is it? I just put a cover over mine and lug it around. I don't think it's really necessary unless you're doing some heavy gigging or have a heavy amp, but if you think it's useful, go right ahead and get it.

I got a VOX 50Watts (65lbs.) Valvetronix.

I bought covers for my amps also. But not really to keep them clean, I did it primarily to keep the knobs from turning when I transport them. I hate it when my settings are all off when I set up.

My 50w Marshall combo is light enough to carry easily. However, the casters on my Fender Twin have saved me many times. Wheels are essential for a heavy amp.

I recall that Gator makes some pretty nice looking amp cases that don't seem to be too overpriced.

I have seen some really nice cases on ebay that have wheels and locks and all that good stuff. It may be worth looking into for you.

An amp case to make it easier to carry around? How about making it heavier to carry around ;P

My suggestion is bolt some wheels on the bottom and rig a detachable handle to pull it along. I hate carrying amps, by the time I get to wherever I'm going it feels like my arms have stretched a few inches .

Macgregor makes some nice flight cases but they don't list prices online. :(

However I spotted this on ebay (If you trust buying stuff on ebay :) )
