Attention, G-DEC aficionados: we just posted a nifty video clip of Eric Johnson playing through a G-DEC! Check it out by visiting the G-DEC, G-DEC 30, or G-DEC Exec product pages!

I have to admit that I never thought that I would want a G-Dec but after that I'm not so sure. It looks like it could be a bit of fun.

Further proof that tone is in the hands. The lion's share of EJ's signature lead tone comes from his picking and his vibrato... just like mine, and yours, and everybody's.

I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the Eric Johnson demo. It doesn't matter what you put on the other end of the cord it's still going to sound like Eric Johnson. Amazing that so many players constantly ask for advice on how to sound "exactly" like another player but refuse to believe how much of it is in the fingers. That's all the proof you need right there.

True, but we're still delighted that he picked the G-DEC as his backstage amp. It really works for him!

Enjoy,

Shane

Agreed. It sounds great looks like a blast and certainly got me intrigued. I've been checking out the other demos.
