I think I'm about done. I'm tired of digging through my storage areas, getting stuff out, and then having to put it all away-or walking around it or tripping over it if I don't put it away. Excess stuff doesn't make it more convenient.

Maybe 2 or 3 more basses, and a new cabinet or two. There are still quite a few effects that I want. I love to experiment with sounds.

I'm done guitar-wise. I have a sort of anti-packrat disorder, you could call it. I very much dislike having lots of possessions, and every couple of months I 'streamline' and chuck away stuff I don't use, tidy my writings, etc. Altho I'd love to have lots of guitars it just ain't practical for moving around (especially as I rely on public transport)

My current rig is a Fender MIM strat with a MIA v neck and upgraded pu through a Blackheart Little Giant head (5watt tube) running a Marshall 1912 cab, and an Alvarez 12 string for my acoustic.

I want my Tele and then I am done. I will have the following:

Highway One Honey Blonde Strat
Simon & Patrick Acoustic
American P Bass

With adding the tele, I would say that that is enough for me.

I played one at my local music store and have been wanting one ever since. I hope that will be the last guitar I buy for a while, since it will be my third guitar in less then 12 months.

I am currently out of aquistiion mode. I have what I need to start learning. At some point when I get better and find a musical direction I'm comfortable with I will probably start another aquisition period.

I feel the same way, Highbinder. I can't stand having lots of "stuff". The more stuff I have, the more stuff that I have to worry about. I just have one guitar (American Standard Strat) and if there was some way to get a more "acoustic" sound out of it it would probably be my only one forever. As soon as I get my hands on a stratacoustic, I'll be out of acquisition mode. 8)

Not me. There are plenty more guitars I would like the pleasure of owning.

There's no end to the guitars I'd like to own. I'd love a Custom Shop Beck. I'd love a Custom Shop Clapton. I'd love a Custom Shop Knopfler. I'd love a Custom Shop Mayer. I'd love the Masterbuilt dream machines. I could own hundreds of guitars and play a different one every day, and I'd probably still see something new that I would like. I'd also buy several Gibsons including the Slash Les Paul and the Jimmy Page Les Paul. I would own one PRS, because they are well-crafted and I might want to play a guitar with birds on it every now and then. Off all these guitars, I'm sure I would end up playing the Knopfler a lot of the time because it's a lot like my Highway One with CS TX Specials that I love.

I want a lot of amps. Tubes are awesome and my preference is the CS tube amps like the '57 twin. That black lacquer '57 twin has my name on it. I'd need a Supersonic to be modern. I could go for some of the ProTubes, and of course a great CS Bassman. My Blues Junior is a great and versatile little tube amp and all these I would make sure I could get those sweet cleans, wicked overdrives, lush reverb that I'm used to getting, plus the extra something they bring to the party.

Since I'm on a sadly limited budget, I'll stick with my Highway One with TX Specials and my little Blues Junior. It's not expensvie, but it sounds great.

I can't believe I don't see one acoustic. Hopefully you will get over your state of denial and fulfill all your cravings. We always want to believe we are done and then it strikes again. Don't stop short, let it go. quote="Brian Krashpad"]I'm pretty close to done.
