'Recently added a cheap classical guitar to the harem and felt this "burp" sound from the soul.

And had this passing thought which has remained for six-plus months, "Wow, man, 'don't need or want any more gear."

Anyone else kinda completed their gera-wish list?

Or what's still waiting to be acquired?

I almost had to report you for abuse. I was shocked when I finally got it.

I really don't care if I get any more stuff. I have an 06 American Deluxe and a 97 Gibson CL-35 acoustic. Two good guitars is all I need.

I'm currently not looking to add to what I have.

I keep thinking I'm done,
then spot something I don't need but cant resist buying.

I'm trying to keep myself down to just buying new strings and picks.

But startling to think of getting a wireless kit.<- something I don't need but seems like it would be a neat toy.

Next Shop-o-holics Anomalous meeting is in room 101, Right next door to MegaMusicMart. :)

Hello JSJH,

I've exposed myself to a lot of
different guitars and gear over the
years, never alot at any one time though.

No reason to change now.

Cheers.

I believe that

"Out of Acquisition Mode"

just means you're taking a breather!

GAS Relief until the next bout.

Every new thing leads to new needs. I started recording, now I need a small Tube Amp, I'm looking into Tube Mic Pre Amps, Drum mics, Mixing Software, and whatever else might make a better sounding record. Another CAD Studio Mic pack would be nice.

Percussion Instruments are never going to go out of style. I want a Slap Stick inthe worst way, and I'm going to make a Jingle Bell Stick before next Christmas. I want more Shakers and more triangles and Claves and Castanets. Tamborines, and hand Drums of all sorts.

As for Guitars, I need a Tweleve String Acoustic and a 5 string Bass, plus and SWR workingman of some sort.

I need bigger speakers for a Bigger PA. More Mic Stands, and More Guitar Stands, so more guitars are at the ready in the studio.

I need an 88 key touch sesative Keyboard with good Piano Sounds. I like the Yamahas and Casios, I've tried.

I need a good Jazz amp, like a roland JC-120. I've always wanted a 70's Ibanez double cuttaway, with Butterfy Pickups.

Oh Yeah, I still need a Jackson DK2 with Seymore Duncans, and maybe an nice '80's style crackle finish, or the Irodescent Swirl. And a Boss Distortion Pedal.

And a Roadie, who can double as sound engineer.
