I can relate... a few years ago my favorite radio station (temporarily) changed its name to "Jammin' Oldies". I couldn't bear to listen to it until it changed its name again.

Congratulations!!

"most of the music I love is in the clearance bins at the mega stores. "
Now imagine being a teen and feeling the same way, it gets unbearable to think that 'real' music died before you were born

Happy birthday :D

Yes it is sad for us teens we never get to here the good people sing. Now what people listen to crappy rap like Saulja Boy Yuckk."That old type of rock'n'roll brings music to MY soul" (Sniff) (cough) What happen to Rock'N'Roll.I guess it just rolled its way to grave of forgotten memories.

Rock n' Roll ain't dead, you just have to look for it. (and I don't mean that schlock rock crap, I mean real rock n' roll.) There are plenty of bands out there playing it, take some time to look outside of the places the industry pushes.

Happy B-day, man!

Happy Birthday kiddo. I have a decade on you and finding music in the stores requires having a clerk go to the racks with you so he can read the labels to you. (I often forget my reading glasses) If I can remember what I went into the store for in the first place.
