Thank You. I have taken it to a couple of jams and to the recent PRS Clinic at my local Fender dealer. The guy giving the clinic used my amp for the entire time.

I play through a Fender Sidekick 35. Its solid state but sounds pretty good. Actually, it sounds way better if turned up.

Feathers, that is a nice peice of work. Is that cherry?

I play my strat through a Fender Frontman 25 with a BOSS VH1 Wah for practicing. I'm getting bored of saying this now.

1992 MIM Fender Strat with Graphtech saddles & Texas Special pups into >
1996 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with NOS GE preamp tubes, GT SubstiTube tube convertoers to run JJ EL84 power tubes & an 80s Carvin 100w British Series (Celestion clone) speaker.
I build all my own effect pedals including clones of a Rat, Tube Screamer, Bluesbreaker and a Tycobrahe Octavia clone as well as 2 digital delays (one long, one short delay times), a UniVibe clone (GGG NeoVibe) and a Crybaby clone. The only commercial built pedal I use is my tuner.

Do a YouTube search for "Dirty Ernie Band" to hear the rig in action.

I have lots of guitars, but my gig #1 is currently my slightly modded white MIM Strat. It's recently replaced my 88 HM Strat I bought new in 88 and have burned the frets practically off the thing over the last 20 years of gigs since I bought it. Even beat to hell, that 88 HM is one awesome guitar.

Cheers,
- JJ

I've always played strats. Had a Marshall half stack for about ten years for gigs. Just test drove my new Hotrod deluxe at a show with a blues band. No pedals just the amps od, freakin great sound. I should have made the switch years ago.

No that was funny...

I love all the presets in the Spider 3 line. You are playing live, you just don't have to think about tone from one song to another. With the foot board you can bounce from one sound to another.

I would love to see something from Fender with all those presets... Something with a bit more punch than a GDEC. Not to dog the GDEC out but, it's a bit small for playing in bars... I'm looking for 50 - 100watts.

Yeah Tubies are cool but when you have to jump from VH, to Jimi, to Disturbed to Journey and back again... My lazy but like to just have to hit one button on a pedle borad and be there... So fast, great sound... So lazy!!!
