The Super Deluxe Tele Thinline is Japanese-made:

The Olympic White American Lipstick Strat has lots of "CHARLEY" vibe! :D

A modern take to a great classic! SRV fans will appreciate the slick, gritty Texas roadhouse blues tones the Duncan lipsticks deliver.

Whether they are made in Japan or not, I love the translation of he website:

"Set the multi-cell binding of 5-ply special hollow mahogany body with a distinctive F hole design. Set blocks position to neck marked with matching head collar. In addition, there is a matching pickup with exceptional Hollow body, adopted a Tron Gretsch filter with a unique sound character.
Singh telecaster new line that Fender guitar lineup."

"As well as the top and back of the body, very luxurious specification which has been subjected to multi-binding to the f-hole to produce a sweet sound box."

Indeed!

I like those block inlays! Kinda like Joe Messina's Tele that he played in The Funk Brothers.

Anyone know the MRSP of the Tele? Or when/if they will be hitting the UK?

It wouldn't hurt Fender to do these in left handed surely, that white/gold Thinline Tele Deluxe is absolutely gorgeous.

It would make up for the lack of colours available to leftys in the recent vintage series releases .....

Can anybody help me out, Im in the UK and am really interested in buying one of the Super Deluxe Telecasters in Olympic white. Since these were announced at the weekend ive been trying everywhere to find out if or how I can get one of these, the only responses Im getting so far is that they are USA only at the moment but some people are trying to work on getting them available to the UK. Does anyone know anymore? If they are USA only is it not possible to import one directly?

Thanks to anyone who can help with this.

So are these the same Japanese made Fenders that have been available for ages, or are they made somewhere else?

No I think they are different from the Japanese TN72's THe Japanese were MAhogany body with actual Gretsch Filtertrons whereas this is Basswood body and the Fideli'Tron pickups from the Cabronita series. Think the MSRP of these FSR's is lower than the Japanese as well as you would expect with the cheaper wood and pickups. No idea where they are being made but if they are currently USA market only youd think they were US or Mexican made?

Tele is nice, my guess the street value should be at around $1300 bucks. WIsh it had TV Jones instead of the same Fidelitrons from my $600 Cabronita.

If I spend $1000+ on a guitar it's because it's perfect and doesn't need an extra $400 on new pups.
