+1

The Star Wars franchise (and its continuing "saga") has less significance to me than the size, shape, color, and consistency of my turds.

I couldn't name any three actors appearing in the last five Star Wars movies but I damn sure remember every line of dialog in "Old Yeller".

Disney hasn't made a decent film in decades. And come to think of it, neither has George Lukas.

You could have just said you don't like Star Wars. I am not intersted in your bowel movements.

yodacaster, it could turn out quite well. I think of the recent blockbuster Prometheus and think old Walt might just be smiling up in heaven :D

I hope Disney does good with this purchase. I have been a BIG Star Wars fan for a long time.

As far as story lines go, I would like to see a film with Mara Jade in it, but I think they would have to re-cast someone to play Luke and the original cast.

Another story line I wouldn't mind seeing is something in the Old Republic story lines as well.

Who's to say what George wrote and what Disney wants to capitalize on. I for one will be looking forward to the next Star Wars movie.

I'm hopeful the new movies will be good. Disney has done some good sci-fi in recent memory including the Avengers movie. I can't believe Episodes 7-9 could be much worse than Episodes 1-3, at any rate.

My daughter will be six when Episode 7 is scheduled to hit theaters. I'm looking forward to taking her and maybe sparking her interest in the original trilogy.

I am warming to this idea. It has been said that the new movies can't be any worse than the prequels, so I guess I wait and see. Time will tell!
