Anyone familiar with Luther Dickinson, the guitarist for the North Mississippi Allstars? I only recently discovered him by accident recently.

I like his chops.

Yeah love Luther's playing, caught him with the All-Stars then about a year later playing a smokin' show with the Black Crowes at Massey Hall which would have given the Allman's a run for their money as far as improvisation goes. His dad surely gave him a great education in southern music both blues and gospel. He has to be one of the finest slide players in the country IMHO, and I recommend anyone who likes The Allman's,slide guitar and blues music in general to check him out live if you get the chance :D

I really like NMA. They're definitely not a conventional band. Never before have a seen a musician simultaneously play drums and keyboard and where in the world did they get the idea of an electric washboard?
