The article doesn't mention the brand of guitar utilized, but being beaten to death with an electric guitar is bizarre. Sympathies to the family and friends of the victim.

This is why, after living in Texas for two years, I had to move back north.

"Your honor, we'd like to introduce this vintage Fender guitar as prosecution Exhibit A."

The family of Lady Armadillo live very near Forest Hills (in Rendon, Texas). I grew up a little south of that area. It's disturbing to see a familiar landmark as a crime scene. Condolences to the family, friends and congregation of the victim...

Just goes to show you there are crazy people everywhere...Gone are the days, when no one dare kill a Cop, a Preacher, or your next door neighbor, no matter how much you didn't like em!

We had a similar incident a year or so back, but unlike that POS this one escaped, got caught and claimed he was insane...he still has not been prosecuted!!! Got to love the big government, liberal, in debt up to thier eyeballs State of Illinois!

local news reports that the murderer's brother said he was acting strange recently. drugs possibly? very tragic, fatal decision. so very sad. this will be a circus here and not the kind with cotton candy. the killer will become the victim.

That was how I started my morning today hearing about that. I live about 30 miles south and it bugs me that I am becomming more and more jaded to it all because it's just everyday life here. I hear it or something like it every single day here. So sad. :(

seismic, brutal sad story. I don't kow which is worse, the death of that pastor or the devastating body count on Mondays here in Chicago. Every Monday the numbers keep growing. Got to stop thinking about this stuff, it is way too heavy for me to process right now.

I don't know what it is these days. The small southern IL town I live near is beginning to see its own rise in crime. A couple of years ago an elderly woman was brutally beaten, near to death in a local church I drive by every day. The (i think two) men involved gave no reason for the beating. Another person I used to ride on the school bus with when I was a kid knocked on his fathers door, and shot him in the head as soon as he opened it. Not to mention the drugs like coke and ecstasy that are on the rise in this once quiet, good ol American small town. I swear, the whole world is going to the dogs.
