I guess it's when a person can hear notes than sing or tune an instrument the note isn't flat or sharp but right at perfect pitch. If all the notes sound the same then you are tone deaf. :)

Hi Ted: whether we're into baseball or cricket, I guess it's got to be some sort of unplayable delivery, right? Either that or it's a football field done out like a putting green.

Personally, I like a big, big jug full of icy margarita. That's my idea of pitcher perfect.

Cheers - C

Perfect pitch is when you throw a banjo into a dumpster and it lands on a set of bagpipes  .

I can put a guitar in perfect tune by ear-many have testred me and the results are always the same. There were a few years where I would either tune in a perfect E or E flat and that was because at the time I was doing a lot of Hendrix covers and consequently tuned to Eb by ear some times.Perfect pitch is really created from memory,it was after about 10 years at least of playing up to 12 hours and more some days,I couldn't help but remember perfect tuning.

I agree but with a clarification.
I think sometimes a banjo might have its rare and limited uses so let's say tossing an accordian onto bag pipes.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I was forgetting that Pitch means something different in the US
My original post was a double meaning one (Tarmac is sometimes called "Pitch" in the Uk ) , so that would be a jokey one (nothing to do with music, just a double meaning word ), OR a more serious meaning, could be that the author tought that is exactly how to describe musical perfect pitch, but I forgot that in the US, pitch is also to throw (In my small neck of the woods it's referred to as "chuck", IE.. "I have just chucked that useless piece of rubbish out of the window"), so interesting replies

BMW-KTM, I play bluegrass with a really good banjo player, but I'm always busting on him about his banjo, so I guess banjo jokes are just a natural thing. But I do like to hear a GOOD banjo player, so OK accordian it is  .

Accordion humor, is this what we've become, here on the electric guitar Forum? I owe accordionists (I've had the good fortune to play with a few) an accompanist big thankyou, they can hold up their part of the stage, like right here (RIP Freddy):

Freddy Fender Flaco Jimenez Willie Nelson Volver Volver
