Well the pedal arrived today so when i got in from work i rigged it up to the jcm800 , turned the gain down to around 5 and the volume on the pedal to around 3 o clock , i then plugged in the mij strat and let rip  GREAT BIG WOW 8) this thing nails rory's sound spot on stuck a mini disc on and played along with messin with the kid , signals , big guns , moonchild and a few more for good measure and just using the strats volume and tone controls i could nail all the tracks tones dead :D i'm loving it so far and will attack it some more after a bath , cheers
Alan

That sounds like an amazing pedal Alan,I only hope that they become available on this side of the pond. I was 2nd row centre when Rory played at our Uni and could see first hand that the only things he had on stage were his old AC-30,his booster and of course his lovely old Strat. It's funny how these days guys don't ever seem to have enough effects pedals to suit them, when guys like Rory could bring a guitar to orgasm with a bare minimum of gear.I think that one of these pedals will be going on my Christmas list, the sound of that pedal with my '65 Strat and Christmas AC-15 should bring me up into the Rory sonic territory but regrettably not in playing ability...lol.

Thanks for helping with my Christmas list.

The pedal sounds fantastic. This quote from one of the reviews rings true to me:

"for many users the Rory Gallagher connection would be irrelevant. It's simply one of the best overdrive/boosters"
