Nigel never did have the time to get anything down pat. That's why he's taken the approach that he has. Every time he took too long to learn something his drummer would spontaneously combust. He learned in a hurry to learn in a hurry.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

That's the ticket! all you need is a guitar a capo and an amp capo and you're set. You don't need to learn scales or tons of chords.

This is the height of efficiency in guitar tuition.
