What do you use for your guitars?

I use a gigbag for my acoustic, but all others are in HS cases.

Usually HSC for transporting acoustics, since I don't have a bag to fit 'em.
For electrics, I use gig bags or HSC depending on space in the car, where I'm going and if I'm piling stuff in with everyone else's.
I have a couple twin guitar cases also, HSC for guitars and a good quality padded bag for bass that can hold two guitars, bass or one of each.

Kind of a vaque question Mike.
At home most of my guitars are out on stands. The ones that aren't are in hsc.
For trips, definitely a hsc.
For rehearsals and jam nights, a gig bag. Last night I took my LP to jam night in a gig bag that was made for my Tele. It was a tight fit and I worried all night something would happen. Seeing the bow in the gig bag from the neck was disconcerting to look at.

A HSC for the bass.

Each of my sixteen instruments travels in its own hardshell case. I use G&G's exclusively for the Fenders and Gibson's factory-spec cases for the Les Pauls. I have an SKB for my Ibanez dreadnaught acoustic.

I use G&G cases also. I've worked on trimming my gigging gear down so that I take main guitar (Strat), backup guitar (Tele), main 1x12 amp and backup 1x12 amp.

Gig bag for short trips and rehearsals. HSC for travel. Stays out on a wall hanger for practice.

Although I do have a hard case, I wish I had a customized case for my MIM Telecaster.

All my guitars have hardshell cases some are standard ones supplied by fender rickenbacker etc but the others are ones sourced from thomann and are used for storing them as i dont do any travelling with my guitars. Have loads of gig bags in the loft.

Gig bags for now but I have been thinking about a hardcase or two lately.

I have more guitars than cases... but if one goes out with me, I put it in a case.
Tele and Strat share one hardshell.
Ovation came with a hardshell.
SG (Penco) came with a hardshell... (friend o' mine gave it to me).
Acoustics have the old-fashioned black cardboard ones.
Gigbags for any electric that's left without clothing.

For gigs fairly close to home, I use Roadrunner soft cases. I find that they protect my guitars much better than gig bags and aren't quite so hard to deal with in tight gigging situations - plus, nobody knows for sure what I have in them... 8)

I use HSC's for my Fender electrics, gig-bags for my Danelectro and Stagg 335 copy and SSC for my Duo Jet. I have a HSC and 2 SSC's for my acoustics. HSC for 6 string Bango. SSC for Mandolin. If I'm only taking 1 guitar to a jam or gig I'll usually just take it in a gig-bag.

Always hard cases - never used to be that fussed until someone dropped my 70's 335 (in the rather pathetic matching 70's original Gibson case) out of the back of the van while loading.

One expensive neck repair later, I figured it was cheaper just to buy decent flightcases for everything and not have to worry quite so much.
