Hello guys. I'm just wondering are there any talkbox players in the forum. If you use talkbox wich one do you use?

I had the old school Heil model a while back, but ended up selling it. I didn't have an amp powerful enough to run it properly, nor was I in a band with a PA, so I never really used it much. I love the idea of one though, and have hovered over the self-powered Banshee model more than once. I'll get one eventually, for sure.

I think the powered versions are the way to go, because your ideal main guitar tone is probably not going to be the same as the ideal tone to get a usable talkbox sound... and you don't want to have to tapdance to switch amp channels and turn the talk box on and off at the same time.
