First of all Buxom I should get 2 points because I listened to all your posts..I really really tried to keep an open mind..honest!..I think my main gripe with punk is it seems they all try just too hard to be punk..music should sort of be natural and I just dont get that feeling on any of the Videos. I listen to a lot of the newer Bands as well as Classic..and almost every genre I just can not seem to click with the punk thing..I felt the same way about disco back in the 70's-80's but I guess thats one thing all of us like about music how it speaks to each and everyone of us in its own individual way!

I understand the trying too hard, with the looks and all. But The Casualties put on an amazing show.

There are people who dress casual and do it, and I'm one of em. But for a lot of these artists, it's like they just picked up a guitar and learned to play what they could, so a lot of them didn't try at all, it was just instinct.

Anyways, thanks for putting up with all that ruckus.

Buxom! I have seen most of the bands onj your selection except the Germs & Stive Bator.
Good selection. I don't stay too much in the loop for punk these days, but one band that has been around and keeps delivering . . . is Bad Religion.

Woah, you've seen The Casualties? How'd they do live? For me, they put on a superb show.

The Ramones, they were the best, I miss them.
I admire your appetite for loud and chaotic, keep listening you will hear the ones that you really like.

Yes! I saw the Casualties several years ago at the Warped Tour. Interesting story though. They were on the same time Bad Religion was on. The sad thing was that as soon as Bad Religion came on the bigger stage - - - everyone flocked to see BR. The lead singer (Greg Gaffin) stopped his set and asked the audience to turn thier heads and watch the casualties play for a few minutes on the smaller stage.

I thought that was a kind gesture. Bad Religion is big now - - - and it was nice of them to steer the attention to the Casualties.
