This afternoon I went to a new accupuncturist and she got great results. The pain and tingling in my hands has all but disappeared completely for the first time in almost 2 years. She also did treatment on my back and releived pain that has been there almost constantly since 1994.The lower left sacral-lumbar region of my back is still sore and she said that it will be like that for a few days as there was little or no blood flow getting through that area and now it's coming back to life. This was also the area of my back that they harvested the bone from for my fusion.I have another treatment on Friday so I'm hoping that I get similar results from that too.

I haven't picked up the guitar yet as I want the treatments to settle in for a few days before I try that but I can't wait to give the Jimmie Vaughn a good bash about with the old Jimi music.

Good on you, guitslinger! I am happy to hear of the positive results!

People tend to take for granted that if you have your health, you have everything.

My wife and I have both had acupuncture several times. It can work great if you have a good practitioner, which it sounds like you've got. I found it very relaxing de-stressing, my wife too. Only drawback is it's quite expensive if you dont have insurance covering it.

Just wonderful..I think your making a wise decision to give it a few days before you pick up the guitar..I have a feeling you would forget moderation..Glad to hear the treatment went well!

Good stuff Derek...about twenty years back I had a few sessions when I was having bad back problems and it really helped....hope it allows you to get in some 6 string time

Fantastic to hear dude, to think so many of us take playing for granted. Stoked you're gonna get to give your axe the thrashing it deserves.

Mojo as always.
