The Les Paul Ultima:

Seems they might as well have just cut and adhered a rectangular sheet of abalone or pearl for the entire fingerboard. I love Les Pauls, but enough is enough.

I'm a Fender bass guitar player, so, reality is I want every Fender bass guitar model
If I collected LP's I would want every model, especially the ugly ducklings

Ugh. Personally cannot stand gold hardware so there's two strikes, the bright white pickup rings are steeeeee-rike three. Yet it's just a matter of taste, somebody'll love it and so that's a good thing.

As if the flame top wasn't enough?

I am not sure who would find this appealing... but I'd definitely laugh if I saw them.

"Dude have you seen my new Les Paul?!"

"No man, let's see it!"

*shows this travesty proudly*

"...Are you f*cking kidding me..."

And I would proceed to laugh.

Sorry Mona, but Tacky just doesn't quite cover it. I was thinking something more like "What a Travesty"

Flames on an old Hotrod = Cool.
Flames on the Maple Top of a Les Paul = Cool
Flames inlaid so you can't even see the fretboard on a Les Paul = SO UNCOOL

My British girlfriend would have said: 'My, how unappealingly frantic'.

I don't mind flames on a guitar body, but even I have to agree that enough is enough on a guitar neck. This Michael Kelly has the wildest neck inlay of any guitar that I own.
