Hi gang ;)

This vid is not only cool because it shows Les and Chet mixing licks like raging bulls, it also has Les demonstrate the "Les Pulverizer" effects unit bolted onto his guitar. Would I recommend this video to a friend? Yes.

Above all, it shows how most of the music aired today lacks one major ingredient: humour. Humour, and creativity! TWO things are lacking form most music aired today: Humour, creativity and inventiveness. THREE things are what's missing from most modern music today... Ugh.
I'll come in again...

Cheers,

Nutter

Cool. Thanks for posting :D So the Les Paulverizer was literally a sequenser/looper for guitar - decades ahead ! I guess it had certain limitations - but Les really was innovative. And full of humor :D

Injupitabl....Injudipa....Indupi...indubito........Correct, one could also add practice and some behavior modification techniques, for newbies this is a must as Chet points out in his guitar tutorial

cheers Nutter, seeing that bolt on thingumygizm on Les's guitar made me think of this one on Big Jim Sullivans http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYQIBg-5OMo
ps This band daren't hit a wrong note not with Chuck Norris on bass, you can almost taste the fear in this performance

Les Paul was on the cutting edge of innovation. He was the genius of electric guitar. Chet Adkins was the genius of playing the electric guitar. Chet went everywhere to learn licks and so forth. He went to country Kentucky to learn. Both are one and two in the electric guitar hall of fame.
