I've got a lot more mods planned.

Upgrading the pots to 500k for this PU, getting a metal jack plate with 4 screws to hold it down, probably larger witch hats, and maybe even a fatter neck.

Buxom . . . 1st of all . . I love your avatar pics. Lee Ving, Joey Ramone . . . and I think that is Darby Crash w/o his famous mohawk.

Most of all, I love your Tele with humbuckers. Looks like a lethal guitar. Perhaps my next Tele will have humbuckers too.....usually that is rare to see on a Tele!

Haha, thanks. Some members think my sig is too big!

You should get into modding. With a little help from more experienced builders, you can really make your guitar your own. Just get an old beater off of eBay. Believe it for not, this guitar was won at auction for $115.

Have a '92 Fender American Std Tele and a 2004 American Std Strat. Both solid as a rock, always in tune, nice fat necks.

The guy is a celebrity down here, does a lot of stand up comedy. He also starred in Flight Of The Conchords too :)

I have played bass for 43 years now and have not had an electric 6 string. I started with an Ibanez Art Core semi hollow. Then I wanted a real electric guitar and got a Les Paul Studio. For some reason a Telecaster kept whispering to me. SO I bought this American Standard 60th Anniversary model this Summer. I love playing. Even unplugged, it is a joy to hold and play.

I'm pretty sure this pic has been posted on the forum before but I just love it to pieces. I have no idea who it belongs to but I wish that somebody was me. It's called the Amplicaster

Cool Amplicaster !
This is my newest (-11) , and my favorite.Classic Series '69 Thinline . Stock. Here it's just got a set-up :D
Image
But this one gives it serious competition of being my favorite ! In fact , this alters - sometimes this is the ONE. MIJ ca -85 , diMarzio twang king in neck pos.
Image

My Squier Affiniy plays like a dream - and is normally situated in my living room , just to grab if I suddenly need an electric. It's got a Fender pup in neck , and a Fender pup selector.
Image Image
The Epiphone ''tele'' is an oddball from ca -89 , which I bought to get back to playing electrics, after being without one for some years. It sounds surprisingly good , and I keep it tuned in open G - for slide

That's no paint job.
That's actual tolex and grille cloth.
