Hello,
I ordered a Fender guitar through my local Fender dealer in May. During the summer, I had contacted the dealer in order to find out how long it would be until the guitar arrived from Fender. I was given the whole "90-120 days" speech which I was fine with. However, after waiting well over 120 days, I had still not received any word on my guitar. After talking with one of the managers at my local Fender dealer shop, I was told the product had not been shipped because over the course of the 90-120 days, the guitar had been discontinued. The manager told me Fender was able to find one and sent it. That was over two weeks ago. I still haven't heard anything about the whereabouts of the guitar. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? I'd hate to think this has happened more than once...

I ordered the Billy Corgan Signature Strat, mainly because its built for sustain and the pickups give it a lot of gain.

Midterms are the only thing keeping me from camping out in the middle of their store until it comes in.

Just curious, was this a big store (Sam Ash, Guitar Center) or a smaller no-name store?

It's time to demand a refund.

I'm dealing with my own issues with Long and McQuade. They used to be really good, but they seem to be slipping.
