Cromer is rubbish unless you're a pensioner. The woodfordes brewery is in Norfolk, that's pretty mint as far as beer goes, not too far from me either. There's another brewery local that feeds it's used hop and mash to turkeys it rears for Xmas. And you do notice it, they taste Mega.

me too in rainy Devon

lived for 3 years in Exeter. It does rain all the time!

I spend half my time in London and half in Devon, on the bottom edge of Dartmoor. In my experience it doesn't rain all of the time - but certainly enough to keep the place nice and green when the rest of the country is looking dry and brown during a long hot summer (if anyone remembers what one of those was like).

I'm a glass half full man. :)

And hey, when it IS raining, there's always that nice Plymouth Gin factory with it's big bar upstairs to go hang out in. What's not to like?

Cheers - C

I like Devon, one of the best areas in the UK in terms of its nature and history, and I did like living in Exeter, It's just that I am not used to so much rain :D

Danny,

In the face of this weather we have to take it cheerfully in our stride. However being an ex resident of the pacific north west myself I would say that you know this all too well when dealing with the rain!
