My playing partner told me years ago that because I do 96% of the singing, I should always bring a thermos of hot tea with honey to the gigs. I used to just drink a soda when singing, but I have to say, when I'm going to be singing for FOUR HOURS, the hot tea really does seem to make a difference. I hated to admit it to him...
