So, here's my latest nuts n' bolts sculpture - I just finished painting it and thought I'd share it with you all before I take it to the buyer's house. I made this for my friend John who plays a similar looking fender bass. all the details arent super realistic, but I'm very happy with how the wood grain turned out- used several shades of brown paints swirled up and lightly dipped the brush in it. also the tuning pegs would be too small to weld on, but i did use some pearlescent silver/white paint and dabbed four little spots on the headstock, as well as using it for the bridge piece.
