Been a good year for guitars here on the river. Got a couple of red ones; a 2008 Thin Skin Jag and a Gibson Midtown Standard with Bigsby. Both slightly used.

Not only that, you finally broke 100 posts and got your first PICK!

I love red guitars and own a few myself.

Welcome to the "red guitar club".

We'll need to show you the secret handshake that ID's all members to one another.

Nice guitars!

I'm still waiting to get my ID card in the mail, too. ;)
I bought a scratch/dent special from my friend at best buy not too long ago, a CAR strat , the classic 60s series. it's shweet. wish it had the matching headstock, though. there's no better paintjob on a fender than CAR with matching headstock. beautiful, dude.

I suspect that this secret handshake may involve pulling fingers. But hey, I was born way before yesterday and always looking for a laugh.
The Jag is a beautiful babie that brings all those good memories of the early 60's back full force. Custom paint, streamlining, and lots o' chrome.
Ignoring the Fenderness of this forum, the Gibson was a real surprise. I wasn't even aware of this model when I saw it. I squinted and asked "What the hey is that?" When I saw the price, I was even more surprised (it being a Gibson - I thought a semi-hollow, but it is more accurately a thin line). I tried it out and left the shop with a big smile and a big shopping bag. This guitar is so comfortable and balanced; a wee bit thinner than a Les Paul, a bit lighter, not quite as big as a 335. Sort of feel like Goldilocks - it is just right. The sound is also between a Les and a 335, the thin line body being very resonate. Used cost was just a little more than a new LP Studio.

Candy Apple Red (CAR) is my favorite guitar color. Not sure why I don't own one in that color.

It was Leo Fender's favorite color too! Oddly my two favorite Fender instrument colors are both Leo Fender's creations, CAR and Fender Blond.
