After getting my bearings with drumming, I'm doing pretty well. I've got blast beats down pretty well.

also, the Zombian.

Good on you for getting a drum kit-that`s the only bit of gear I`m missing to be able to outfit a band.My Missus loves the drums and always said that she`d love to learn to play them so I did the considerate thing and offered to pick up a set of drums and teach her how to play. She told me in no uncertain terms that if I ever brought home a set of drums she'd insert them.Needless to say I passed on that idea.

Don't have a ride yet. Local store is hooking me up, though. A Paiste Alpha 16" crash and a Sabian Ride for $140.

Congrats on the new drum set! I've always wanted one, but never had the room for it (literally, because I didn't have a bedroom for about eight years haha.) Just barely got room for my guitars and amps in my gf's house now.

Be sure to put it to good use and annoy the hell out of your parents and neighbors like you're supposed to! Have fun with it.

-Jake :P
