Thanks for the link, I agree with you Bros. 8)

Fender Stratocaster-TS9- Fender Vibroverb (or Fender Tremolux, Twin Reverb, Super Reverb, Bandmaster, Showman, Dual Showman). The setup should help you coax any guitar tone, you might be looking for, out of that gear.

ps: there are many great pedals. I picked the TS9 because I've watched some great players rip it up with that gear.

the funny thing about tone is.. you get to play one day.. same eq, same set up... then again.. the next day.. you play on the same place.. eventually you'll start to hate it..

anyways blues driver works for me..

Blues Tone = My Strat, into a Volume pedal, a BadMonkey (seldom used but there when I need some hot licks), then a Reverb pedal (always on), into a Pro Jr. Real simple rig.

The right guitar paired with the right amp.....for the situation. Seeing as THAT tone is subjective depending on the individual, that tone for a metal head being at the opposite end of the spectrum from a country player or a blues player, niether is right or wrong. Knowing what your trying to achieve is half the battle getting there is the fun part!

+1

cheers :D
